Jesselton, And Love

- Kem PGA Batalion 7, Lahad Datu [homesick]. 9th of July 2018 (Monday), 06:44PM
As an honour to the promise I made yesterday, here's another post. This revolved around the time when my family and I went to Kota Kinabalu (formerly known as Jesselton) to pick up my car and vacating while on that. It was quite a moment, I'd have to say, since we haven't  got the chance to spend much time together. Growing up, most of the times were hard times, so this whole vacation was a tribute to those times.

I couldn't imagine myself living this life alone without them. We got into arguments, we fought and got hurt by one another. But to be very honest, to forgive them is a million times easier than to keep the injuries that they caused. I mean, at some points, we get hurt while on the others, we hurt them. So, forgiveness is a recuperation, not only to their mistakes, but to ours, even more.

So, the entire vacation was all laughter and smiles, all jokes and consolation. It was a time when we really enjoyed the company of the others, when we managed to turned away from our lack in luxury. It wasn't that much, but it was great. I enjoyed every second of it. I'm looking forward to be spending another long vacation with them.

My mom and my dad. Two greatest joys in my life.

Pasar Gaya Street. Every time I get the chance to be in Jesselton, I always try to find time to stroll in its festivities. Its multitudes of races, languages and backgrounds are so surreal. And to wander in it with my fam? It's a holw lot better. I love Malaysia~

Taking a break from a long journey.
We, we stopped by the Desa Dairy Farm. I couldn't forget the sparkles in my family's eyes once we parked and entered this place. It's like I've brought them into Heaven. Well, I hope I get to see them "there", where there won't be any poverty. They had enough of this hardships. Although knowing I couldn't always give what they want, due to my own poverty-stricken life, I always pray, and hope, and wish that we could get pass this world with merits that'd enable us to enjoy even more "there".
Uhm, sorry for a very sentimental post. I just love them!
